So after a few months off I finally got a show released for Geek Dating. I know it was about time. Well the plan is to release two a month. I have enough co-hosts that this is very doable. ByteTalk will also be releasing a show next week. Ray and I agreed on a few dates to record so hopefully that will work out. Other then that have my b-day coming up next week. The big 30...not sure what to say about that....party in PB next friday.

Well another weekend of sports....We had a tournament last weekend that the team played very well. We finished 2nd which was great to start our first tourney in that way. This week not much is going on but I do get a chance to watch some football. Chargers won a great one was week against the Steelers and we get to play the 49ers this weekend. Should be an easy win but you never know. I'm sure they aren't taking them for granted. Anyways shows will be coming...I swear...seriously...haha...working on them but we are still up and running.

Well this week has been pretty crazy. With work and baseball not much time to do many shows. Looks like Geek Dating 101 will be dead soon unless i can find another co-host. If i can't fill that spot in the next few weeks i'll probably kill the show at least for a while. Other then that all is well. The pad's are back in first place after that brutal loss in LA. Damn I hate those Dodgers.

Well Ray and I finally released a new ByteTalk show. It had been over two months. We received a lot of emails actually asking if the show was still on. Well with coaching being pretty much done and with Ray getting some time we are looking at going back to our once a week schedule. I will be doing some work for Travel Baseball but I plan on scheduling that a bit better so I can continue all three shows.

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July holiday. Mine I must say was very fun but didn't get the much needed rest i've been wanting. Oh well, what are ya gonna do right. Well we have a few shows recording this week and we also are working on something right now for The Sports Nuts which is still in the discussion mode. If things become official I'll definitely let all you know. One event I'm really looking forward to is the upcoming UFC fight this weekend. Shamrock vs Ortiz should be a fun fight to watch but my interest is in the Slyvia fight. Game On!!!

Well i've been really swamped. Work and coaching takes so much time. Well for now until the baseball season we are probably going to a bi-weekly show for Bytetalk. Geek Dating....well what can I say...we normally record friday nights but my team has had games the last 4 weeks in a row. Well it's been another busy week. I truly need a vacation. Need to head up to Seattle soon to visit some friends. Anyways, show 21 will be recording and am hoping to release late Wednesday night. Geek Dating is still up in the air. We'll see what we can do. Lots of baseball stuff this past weekend. Little League is in full swing. Luckily we get a weekend off for easter. Well we had another busy week. Ray went on vacation so I decided not to do a show for bytetalk. I actually debated doing a show solo but that would have been weird. Next week though we'll have a new ByteTalk show and Geek Dating 101. Should be a good week. This weekend should be good with the padres in town. Lets see how they do against the Rockies. I'm also looking at getting Andrea on the show sometime soon.

Well Friday is finally here. We finished up ByteTalk last night and released so that was cool to do. Geek Dating 101 is still in the works for show #10. Looks like the cables I need won't be here for a few days. I hope things go smoother for the actual vidCast production. Well another full weekend of Baseball games is up so that's always a good time. Very cheap entertainment going to the little league fields and watching my lil bro and the rest of the kid clan play their games. Well everybody have a great weekend and have a few beers for me.

Well it's wednesday and the week is blowing by pretty fast. Work has been crazy but very excited about this weekend. We have the Final Four coming up and the start of the baseball season. Well it's a great time....the WBC is in full swing and I love seeing these games. It's an awesome tourney. I think the U.S. team is in trouble with their inconsistent pitching but maybe they can pull it out and advance to the final round. Not sure if you folks saw but SDSU is also in the NCAA tourney. This is awesome....I'm so glad Steve Fisher came to SDSU and turned this program around. Hopefully this will be the year we actually get our first WIN in the NCAA. I'll keep you posted.

Well show 8 was finally completed for Geek Dating 1o1. We did get to test some new equipment so that was good. We still need to run a few more tests with video and decide on the format of the vidCasts. That show may be a bit different then our audio shows. ByteTalk is recording later this week. The feedback was good on our last show...even with denisse's bare balls comment...lol.

New Month

Well it's the start of March and we have a lot of things planned. We finally got Show #17 of ByteTalk last night and released it. We are going to record show #8 for the Geek Dating show this friday night at 10pm PST. Should be a fun show with Denisse, Brenda, Eddie, & Luis joining me. I'm looking to test the video portion and editing but don't feel we'll do a video release until show 9 or 10. Well i'll keep you posted on that.

What A Weekend

Well it's Monday and the start of a new week. Last week I was completely swamped and wasn't able to release any new shows for either podcast. This week we should be able to get both shows out. ByeTalk wednesday morning and Geek Dating 101 on Friday morning. This past weekend though was a great time. Hung out with Tony (Disgruntled IT Guy) and the Big Dog on Saturday night. Things got a little hairy but its' always good times with those guys. I am planning another meet up with both crews of ByteTalk and Geek Dating. I'm thinking that it will be at The Local in the gaslamp. Not sure on the date since everybody is so freakin busy....well hope you all have a great MONDAY.

Hectic Week Ahead

Well after having a nice holiday weekend it's back to the trenches. This week the plan is to record ByteTalk and release by wednesday night. We may take a week off from Geek Dating 101 to get ready for our next group show where we'll be taking calls in. Need to buy a few cables and run a few tests before we announce the time and date of our first call in show. I'm also working on setting up a few interviews for bytetalk. We'll see how that goes. Anyways I'll keep you guys posted. Might need a few beers before the week is out. Now there is also a big fight this weekend between Vargas and Mosley. Should be a nice showdown. We'll see if anyone I know is hosting or else I might have to fork over the big bucks to get it.

Wiped Out

Well it's Thursday and I'm so ready for the weekend. Working at this new job has been pretty tough. It's been very hectic but I would say yesterday and so far today have been a lot more calm and I have a handle on things now. We recorded both ByteTalk and Geek Dating 101 last night. We finished kinda late so I rushed them out and didn't realize I had dead air at the end of geek dating 101. 10 minutes of dead air....uggg...I would fix it but any change on the file and iTunes picks up as a new show and double lists it so i'll just leave it as is since the show was done by that time. Well I'm still waiting for the video camera to be released. It was suppose to be out on the 1st but now the date is 2/16 but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed again. We'll see how that goes. Well that's all I got for now.

Busy Week

Well it has been a crazy week of work and tech. We did two shows this week and have a lot of content already for the next two shows. We decided on some format changes for ByteTalk so that's something i'm pretty excited about. I really think it will give the show much better flow. I also have a few equipment pieces coming in that will improve our audio. I'm really debating getting a Mac Mini for the Video aspect. Not sure what to do. I really want an xbox 360 also lol. Well we'll see.

Well yesterday was my final day at EP. A few of my friends and I went out after work for some drinks and had a good time. I might have had one to many...lol. Well I'll post some pics on flickr when I get a chance. Ryan is having his final day in san diego party tonight so I'll have to rest up and head back out. We are looking at adding a few segments to our shows so I'll post that info on each shows site. I'm also working on getting a few interviews for the bytetalk. I'll keep you posted.

Poker Tournament

Well tonight was our online tournament and boy did i get spanked. Now not as bad as ellie. She came in 190th place out of 198. But I was done a bit after that. I ended up in 106th place. Got spanked on a few hands and after that i was pretty much dead. Oh well it was fun though. We'll definitely look at setting up another one. Well I'll keep you guys posted on upcoming events.

Hey everyone,

Well after getting some greef from people I finally decided to create my own personal blog. Don't know how much i'll be able to keep it updated but I will do my best to do so. There are a few events coming up this week that I will definitely blog on. This is my last week with my current company and will be starting at another company next monday which i'm looking forward to.
